He is, in part, responding to your own most recent RD essay on the Rob Bell brouhaha. In it, toward the end, he raises an issue that fascinates and troubles me: that the traditional conception of Heaven may be as problematic as our traditional ideas about Hell. In summary, he suggests that Heaven as traditionally conceived would not be a place where anyone could have free will.
